You will need to do some farming to craft some items for taming. To run a compost bin and produce fertilizer you need charcoal, 50 rotten meat, 50 magic shards and grass. You can craft it then in the compost bin. Medium fertilizer needs grass, charcoal and spoiled meat. At the compost bin you use charcoal and grass for small fertilizer, but you can also craft medium fertilizer and later on when your rank goes up also big one.

The irrigating system makes a lot of water running sound, so you might want to have it not super close to your base. To make your water system work you will need to drop an intake pipe at the water source. To water your plants the taps need to be connnected to the pipes and close to your crop plots. A pig can farm the mushroom spores, all other seeds you should get by a scythe.

The flowers you can grow drop elemental cores. Bahamut, Longhorn and Elephant will collect grass for you best, but indeed the sword collects even more. Wheat is probably for advanced cooking, till now there are no recipes. Make sure your crop plots are well irrigated and fertilized, before you seed them. Big crop plots will need a lot of fertilizer and it takes longer till they grow anything, about 4 hours till they produce anything. Fertilizer gets still too fast used up, within a day all is used up if you fill your crop plot with it, so a lot of work to run the crop plots.

The plants die within a day if they run out of fertilizer. Your crops grow faster if they are near a treant walking tree. Tame one of them to speed things up! Combined with the the ability of the Water Elemental to work as a water sprinkler for the crop plots, makes farming more efficient.

The seeds that you can use to grow a shrubbery grows lucky clover: Shrubseedling In small crop plots you can only grow wheat or scrub seedlings.

In medium crop plots you can seed mushroom spores, wheat seeds or scrub seedlings. All the other seeds need a big crop plot. Build platforms to avoid problems with placing your plots by the bumpy ground. Next build your irrigation by pipes and water barrels to see where you can place your plots because the tap needs to be close to them.

Larger crops consume water and fertilizer faster then smaller ones. Growing Shrubbery and Wheat consumes the least amount of fertilizer, about per hour compared to per hour for Fungal Spores. Wheat and Shrubbery also grows faster than other crops, in about hours. To get Darkseed and Light blossom seed you need to kill the big trees called Treants and use the scythe to harvest them.

Fungal spores will grow different mushrooms: Deathcap, Nightcap, Vigor or Whitecap. Lucky clover is dropped with a lower chance than other seeds or plants you grow. It can be used for cooking or taming. The clover and some seeds can be sold to NPC merchants if you leveled those up before.

To switch between your staff heads spells you can equip one in the armor slots and put the second one into a quickslot then it will just switch if you press the quickslot number. Unfortunately people did post spawn codes at the net that did not work at all. Made me angry to be honest that they don't even try out their stuff. Lets say you want a Longhorn: The code got the name of the animal or creature at 3 places, just replace from the code you see above from the last example with the Wyvern the word "Wyvern" by the word "Longhorn.

Guys if you take a closer look at my work you'll see that I worked for years on my other guide for the game ARK, it is huge..

I mean really huge and back then the wiki was very bad. That guide got also stolen by the same turkish guy. Steam did not want to help me, so I stppped working on all my guides. I did before far more than 2 guides, I guess it were 5 or 6 at least. In total I did put so much work into it that it made me really sad that someone else copied all of it.
